We encourage you to speak with a licensed medical professional regarding the movement dysfunction you are experiencing. We advise your medical team to guide you in deciding which "keyword" to enter in the search engine, so you can find the right clinic for you.
If you are in a direct access state, a referral from a doctor is not needed.
However, we would like to clearly state that your insurance plan may place stipulations on your personal access to therapy services without a doctor's referral, or the clinics you may go, as well as number of visits approved. We always encourage you to call your insurance provider to understand your physical therapy benefits and out of pocket costs.
We do not disclose any of your personal information to third party sites. Your personal information will only be shared to therapy clinics you chose to contact.
It is crucial to understand the conditions and/or diagnoses your therapy clinic treats. This will ensure you will receive the optimal care you deserve. All therapists found at any physical therapy outpatient clinics are board certified physical therapists. Some further their education and training by receiving clinical specialist certifications and/or fellowship training in the following: Women's Health, Sports and/or Orthopedics, Pediatrics, Neurologic or Cardiovascular & pulmonary conditions.
The clinic you encounter may be more seasoned in treating conditions in one area (i.e. Women's Health) versus the other (i.e. Neurologic conditions). We highly encourage you to call and ask questions. Seek out a clinic that primarily and/or frequently treats conditions in the category you are looking for. Do not be afraid to call other clinics to compare/contrast your options.
We sincerely apologize for the delay in communication. We know you are eager to begin your physical therapy journey to a healthier and stronger life.
We try to work tirelessly with the outpatient therapy sites to encourage maintaining up to date contact information on their end as well as prompt communication to potential patients who inquire about possibly receiving services.
If you do not receive a phone call and/or email within 1 to 2 business days, please call the clinic to inquire about potential therapy services.
